County Cross Country Trials - Saturday 15th October 2011 - Sandwell Valley

Runners finishing in the top twenty places in the Borough league races one, two and three received invitations to run for Solihull in the County Trials.
79 Solihull athletes attended the event (75 in 2010, 65 in 2009), of which 27 finished in the first fifteen places (25 in 2010, 25 in 2009) - earning themselves selection into the West Midlands team for the Inter-Counties race (November 2011).
Thanks are extended to all parents and staff who supported this meeting, including two Smith’s Wood Sports College staff members who carried out team management duties for the Solihull team.
Congratulations to the team of Solihull athletes. This was our best performance at the trials for several years.
