12 Solihull runners selected to represent West Midlands at prestigious ‘English Schools’ race
Every county in England selects a team of 48 runners to compete in the Aviva ESAA English Schools’ Cross-Country Championships on Saturday 17th March 2012. The Championships take place at NAS Merryfield, Ilton, Somerset. Full details are available on the ESAA website - click on 2012, then on National Cross-Country information.
Solihull is one of 8 areas in the West Midlands, so it is expected that around 6 of our runners will gain selection to the county team. In 2011, 7 runners from Solihull schools gained selection to the West Midlands team, with Meredith Cox achieving our best result (89th in England).
This year, we have a remarkable 12 runners selected!
