  • Date:

Saturday 21st January 2017 at Warley Woods, Smethwick, B67 5LX

  • Venue:

    Directions:
    Warley Woods, SMETHWICK B67 5LX
Parking is only available on adjoining roads (e.g. Abbey Rd, Barclay Rd, Lightwoods Hill) as well as a number of side roads off Abbey Road. All are within 5mins walking distance of the start/finish.  Please note that, following complaints from local residents due to inconsiderate parking and access problems during previous cross-country events, some roads (e.g. Slatch House Road) will be no parking zones and will be coned off. Therefore we would ask all athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, team-managers to, a) car share where possible & b) always park with consideration for local residents. Failure to comply may result in the right to hold cross-country events at the Woods being withdrawn. Thanks in advance for your full cooperation.

There is a small car park at the golf course end of the Woods, accessible from Lightwoods Hill, but it is used mainly by paying golf customers, so we would be grateful if you could refrain from parking there. N.B:- there are no toilet facilities available on the course, but there is a cafeteria at the Community Pavilion which does have toilets for cafeteria customers.
